Join Our Volunteer Teams and Make a Difference!
The Programme Team:
Are you excited about creating memorable experiences for young people? The Programme Team is a growing group of volunteers working together to plan special events for Crosby & District. There’s no obligation to commit to every event—just choose the ones that interest you, and get involved when and how you can!
If you’d like to be part of a dedicated team creating exciting experiences and adventures for our youth members, we’d love to hear from you!

The Welcome Team:
Do you want to help new adult volunteers feel welcomed and supported from day one? Join the Welcome Team and play a key role in ensuring our new volunteers have a positive, smooth introduction to Scouting. You’ll be helping to create a supportive environment where new volunteers feel confident, inspired, and included.
By volunteering with the Welcome Team, you'll help guide new recruits through their onboarding process, offer a friendly face, and ensure they feel part of our community. The role doesn’t require a huge time commitment—just a willingness to help others and make them feel valued. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, contribute to the success of our community, and make a real difference in someone’s Scouting journey.
If you’re interested in creating a warm and welcoming experience for new volunteers, we’d love to hear from you!

Vacant Volunteer Role: Nights Away Assessor
We are also looking for Nights Away Assessors to help ensure our Scout groups can provide safe and enjoyable overnight experiences for young people. These volunteers assess the skills and knowledge of leaders to deliver overnight camps, sleepovers, and expeditions that meet Scout policy, safety guidelines, and create a positive environment for participants.
