Tchau e boa viagem, Mateus! 🇧🇷
Last week, 12th Crosby Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts waved goodbye to a special visitor from Brazil, Mateus Becker. Over the past six months, Mateus has been travelling the world, connecting with host Scout families, sharing experiences, and participating in Scout activities across various countries.
Here's a message from Mateus himself:
"It was an incredible week, with many wonderful moments, new friendships and unforgettable adventures, it's been 214 days since I've been travelling, and I'm sure one of the best moments of my trip I had in Liverpool, I would like to give a special thanks to Big Tim from group 12th, who helped me and organised an incredible program for me, with activities every day, visiting other families and participating in activities with scouts of all ages. It was a week of great joy, laughs and a lot of scouts, once again proving that scout is an international movement, it's a family!
In these videos you can see some moments of this week , but they could never explain the gratitude and affection I have to everyone I met, thank you very much for everything! You made my experience much better than I could ever imagine!"
We wish you all the best on the rest of your travels, Mateus! You’ll always have friends here in Crosby. 🌍⚜️
Thank you to everyone involved, particularly his hosts at 12th Crosby Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and 4th Crosby for also opening up your meetings and sharing the spirit of Scouting.
